Creative and educationalOUR SCHOOL PROGRAMS CAN NOW BE CONDUCTED ONLINE & IN-PERSON
Our School Programs provide students with unique opportunities to work alongside artists, actors, dancers, designers, theatre technicians, and more. School programs can be tailored to suit any age group and adaptable to fit in with subjects and curricula. We are happy to design workshops so they honour themes, goals, and outcomes. Sessions can be booked singularly or as part of an ongoing program. Most of our workshops can be conducted online and live via Zoom or can be accessed as pre-recorded sessions.
DANCE IN PE
Dance in PE is a way for students to stay active and discover physicality outside of athletics. Using various genres such as Street Dance and Cultural Dance styles, our classes challenge and improve both coordination and spatial awareness.
ICT & MEDIA
ART
These workshops give students the opportunity to work with international Artists. Students can explore various styles of art including Cubism, Pop Art, Printmaking, Puppet Making, Claymation. If required, our workshops can be designed with a cultural focus. Workshops can centre around specific techniques such as watercolour, pastels, digital art, and collage.
MUSIC
From Rhythm & Movement workshops to DJ-ing & African Drumming, our music workshops allow students to explore various forms of music. Workshops include: Body & Object Percussion, Beat Boxing, African Drumming, DJ Skills, Sound Engineering & Recording. We also offer students the opportunity to work alongside Composers and Singer/Songwriters.
THEATRE STUDIES & PERFORMING ARTS
Students have the unique opportunity to learn from Film Directors, Writers, Dancers, Choreographers, Stage Technicians & Designers. Whether it’s costume design, stage craft, or choreography, students will gain experience from industry professionals. Our Choreographic & Stage Services are available to schools & ideal for school productions & events.
HOLIDAY PROGRAMS & EXTRA CURRICULAR
All of our activities can be booked for school holiday programs or as extra curricular activities during term. We are able to design programs which include hula hooping, circus skills, world music, dance, visual arts, and more. Programs can be organised online or in-person.
Our school programs cover all aspects of the arts. Programs can be tailored to focus on specific genres that are suited to your students. Our school workshops are not only creative but also educational. Expose your students to some of the elements of the arts which often go unseen. They will receive an intimate insight into the skills and discipline needed to achieve artistic goals. Each session improves wellbeing, group dynamic, confidence, and creativity skills.
School programs & workshops can be booked on campus or as an excursion spanning a morning or afternoon at The Fitzroy Art Collective. These are subject to availability and must be booked at least one (1) month prior to the required date. Workshops can also be organised as extra curricular/holiday programs.
