Frequently Asked Questions

How long do community workshops typically run?

Most sessions run for 60–120 minutes, but we’re flexible and can adapt the duration to suit your event schedule, venue availability, or program format. For ongoing programs, we can design weekly or monthly sessions.

Do you travel to regional and rural communities?

Yes! We deliver programs across Victoria and interstate. Travel and accommodation costs may apply for locations outside metropolitan Melbourne, and we’re happy to discuss logistics for regional activations.

Can programs be tailored to specific cultural events or themes?

Absolutely. We regularly design programs around Harmony Week, NAIDOC Week, Seniors Week, Youth Week, multicultural festivals, and seasonal celebrations. Just let us know your theme and we’ll create something meaningful and relevant.

Do you provide all materials and equipment?

Yes. All art materials, craft supplies, and equipment are included in our workshop pricing. For music and cultural dance programs, we bring instruments and sound equipment as needed. For online programs, we can mail materials to participants in advance.

Can you work with participants of varying abilities?

Yes. Our programs are designed to be inclusive and accessible. We work with people of all ages and abilities, and can adapt activities to suit participants with disability, mobility considerations, or sensory needs. Let us know your community’s needs and we’ll tailor the experience accordingly.

Do you offer virtual or hybrid programs?

Yes! We can deliver workshops online via Zoom or your preferred platform, with craft kits or materials mailed to participants. We also offer hybrid options for organisations with both in-person and remote participants.

What's the minimum and maximum group size?

We can accommodate groups from 10 to 200+ participants, depending on the workshop type and venue. For larger activations or festival settings, we can run multiple sessions or stations throughout the day.

How far in advance do we need to book?

We recommend booking at least 4-6 weeks in advance to ensure availability and allow time for planning, especially for programs requiring materials to be ordered or guest artists to be confirmed. However, we can sometimes accommodate shorter timeframes — just reach out and we’ll do our best to help.

Can you invoice our organisation directly?

Yes. We work with councils, universities, and community organisations through purchase orders, invoicing, and grant-funded programs. We’re experienced in working within council procurement processes and can provide quotes, ABN details, and insurance certificates as required.

Do you have insurance and Working With Children Checks?

Yes. All Rebel Stepz Arts facilitators who work with children hold current Working With Children Checks, and we carry public liability insurance. We can provide documentation upon request.

How do we make a booking or get a quote?

Simply fill out our enquiry form or email us at sheena@rebelstepzarts.com with details about your organisation, program goals, and preferred dates. We’ll respond with a tailored proposal including pricing, program options, and next steps.
